George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic join Dionne Warwick, Black Sabbath and more in becoming the Recording Academy’s latest Lifetime Achievement Award honorees.
Parliament released it’s first album in 38 years, Medicaid Fraud Dogg, to highly positive critical acclaim earlier this year.
Frontman, George Clinton, received the first Grammy award of his career for his contribution to Kendrick Lamar’s generation-defining To Pimp A Butterfly, released in 2015.
